I downloaded a cue and bin of 50 first dates.

I am trying to change it to MPEG with VCDGEAR. When I get the file that it converts, it says its MPEG and everything looks normal.

It is 770Mbs or so, so I think its alright.

I cant play it with DIVX or WMP though...whats wrong?

if you just want to play it, videolan can play bin files, saves you all that hd space and time extracting it
