You won't get anywhere near 328kB/sec on 1.1Mb/sec ADSL
On a given day or given circumstance, you think you have a limit.
And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit and you think "Ok, this is the limit".
As soon as you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further.

I don't believe you, to get 8.4MB/sec, you'd need at least a 67Mb/sec connection

I get those kinds of speeds all the time.
The key is giving a little more than 13KB up!

I usually run about three torrents at once giving about 30KB to each.

You just don't want to use 100% of you upload ablitity. It can create a bottle neck situation. This maybe a real problem if your connection is cable.

I like to, and a general rule to follow is use a total of no more than 80% of you total upload ability.

For example I have 786kbps up (approx. 100KB). I try not to use more than 80KB up at once.

My connection is adsl 4mb download 786 upload.
