Thread: The Fastest Speed

    So far this is my highest, 328 kb per second, i wish i could consistently get these speeds

    speed then get a 1.1mps ADSL then try to get some poeple to hook up to life is so sweet

    You won&#39;t get anywhere near 328kB/sec on 1.1Mb/sec ADSL
    On a given day or given circumstance, you think you have a limit.
    And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit and you think &quot;Ok, this is the limit&quot;.
    As soon as you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further.

    I don&#39;t believe you, to get 8.4MB/sec, you&#39;d need at least a 67Mb/sec connection

    I get those kinds of speeds all the time.
    The key is giving a little more than 13KB up&#33;


    I usually run about three torrents at once giving about 30KB to each.

    i was told a while ago that lowering ur upld speed will increase ur dl speed.

    i actually got up to 350 something that nite, but this is the only scrnshot i have. what connection do u have broken?

    You just don&#39;t want to use 100% of you upload ablitity. It can create a bottle neck situation. This maybe a real problem if your connection is cable.

    I like to, and a general rule to follow is use a total of no more than 80% of you total upload ability.

    For example I have 786kbps up (approx. 100KB). I try not to use more than 80KB up at once.

    My connection is adsl 4mb download 786 upload.

    AOL 9.0 Now with top speed sarcasm that is 5x funnier than normal
    dial up sarcasm complete with AOL instant stalker.

    AOL 9.0 with top speed and AOL instant stalker...more expensive than saffron but worth it&#33;
