Does it still make sense to post hashes in the musicroom, since a lot of people look into soulseek now?
What does everybody think?

Yo Benno...IMO i dont see the point of posting hash's really anymore as we have soulseek now and just share directly. One to one sharers sharing real genuine music, downloading at gr8 speeds too.So stock up with music at soulseek!!
@ jibbler i think that over 4 million users are more then capable of keeping the network pumping

Dont think FC would be to happy about this
I don't use SoulSeek too. I don't like it.
Sorry, FC!
I mean, how can you guys like something that gives download privileges to the ones that donate more money?
I thought file-sharing was supposed to be free and democratic!
How can you criticize Kazaa's Participation Level when SoulSeek has a worse one, that rewards people that donate more money!
Plus, it doesn't support multi-source downloading and it relies on a central server that only works whenever it feels like.
Well i have to say it seems pretty stable..
The fact is that in the room we use payed for is useless, unless your member of this board...
Otherwise you aren't allowed to download. FC checks all.....
It seems to work nice though and why you need multiple download sources for we talking music mp3's....
Really if you enjoy music get your ass in there.. B)
Or you'll be banned from the board.Originally posted by jetje@12 March 2003 - 17:08

I just don't like supporting P2P software that was made by a guy that wants to profit from it...Originally posted by jetje@12 March 2003 - 16:08

Besides, you can't get porn with SoulSeek...
BTW, can't you see the resemblance between SoulSeek and IRC?
SoulSeek just has a more user-friendly interface than IRC, but it lacks a lot of IRC features.
I have no interest in using Soulseek. If I was interested, I'd probably post on their board about it.--
