how do i make it faster so its not as hot?
how do i make it faster so its not as hot?
most likely answers are "get speedfan"
but i don't find that it helps
Ohh noo!!! I make dribbles!!!
You mean the PSU fan?
Replace it with a faster rated fan.
But... The stock fan should be adequate. If the PSU is running to hot then either your case needs better ventilation or it has too much of a load.
theres loads of hot air at the back...
all so my cpu is 56C
is that good or bad or is it goin to melt
After rereading this... I see that you may be talking about the CPU fan.
Replace it with a faster fan.
And try to improve the case ventilation.
my cpu fan is 56C
and my pcu is realy hot at the back
all so i have a 80mm can at the back of my case could some one recomend me a good fast one from ebuyer thanks
B)
the 'thing at the back' is PSU not PCU, it stands for power supply unit...i doubt you need to replace that, it should be adequate for the psu. the reason hot air is coming out is because you dont have proper ventilation in your case (add more case fans).Originally posted by gungrave@4 April 2004 - 20:48

try speedfan to make your cpu fan run faster, and if it doesnt help much you can buy a 80mm-to-60mm adaptor and an 80mm fan to attach to your heatsync which will have better airflow AND be quieter which is great.
