I installed this & my 56k got f'd. Went from 48Kbps to 19.2Kbps. What's up with that? I would have liked to use this. Oh well thats where my sig comes in handy.

Well, the only problems now are with the blocklists themselves.
Will probably integrate "name brand ads" option and "useless" into a secondary ads component. I am breaking apart the Porn blocking section. There are a lot of regular ad entries that should be in other sections.
Currently almost done.
I was thinking about adding an option to install a program that uses the HOSTS file to speed up browsing by caching the IP address and recording it in the HOSTS file, but I really want to minimize the programs running in the backround. Plus, it can hypothetically cause problems, and I just never get around to actually trying the program....

I started this to make it easier for myself at first, but I decided to give it away.
What OS are you using? The problem should only be in Windows 2000 and XP machines. It is only on these systems that the option to configure the DNS client service shows up.
