    When you extract the .mpg out of a .bin Does the Quality of the movie change?

    no it doesn't
    http://www.vcdgear.com is the easiest way or you can mount it with daemon tools and copy the mpegav file and rename it to .mpeg

    What do you mean "better"? They should both be the same quality...
