OK if you were stuck on a desert island and you could only take

1 book
1 video
1 cd

What would they be?

mine would have to be

The bible
Because it would take me years to be able to understand it and once i did i would then have to read it again. That would take afew years off

The green mile
Pure class film

Bat out of hell + as many meat loaf would fit on in MP3 format.
Again just tunes you never get fed up of listening to.

So yours ? ? ?

I think he owned himself when he admitted being a Meatloaf fan

On a given day or given circumstance, you think you have a limit.
And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit and you think "Ok, this is the limit".
As soon as you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further.

Book: The Seven Pillars Of Wisdom: It would remind me if ever the island becomes populated never trust politicians. If anyone ever gets time to read it, it will give them an insight to todays middle eastern conflicts.

Video: The Shawshank Redemption. Great movie with an unexpected ending.

CD: Me And Bobby McGhee by Kriss Kristofferson. Life in music form.

Book: Cartoon history of the universe (for similar reasons as boab, plus its two covers full of fun&#33 although now that I think about it "How to survive all alone on a desert island" might not be a bad book to have.

Vid: The complete history of pornography (If I GOTTA be on this island alone, I might as well remember what women look like deeply consumed in the throes of ecstasy.)

Cd: Well im obviously follwing a trend here so I bet you figured out that it would have something to do with the history of music... I figure if MP3's are valid, so are compilations..

I also decided to take the liberty of creating the vid out of complete nothingness too, but I figure the same guys that put you on the island but make you decide what you want to take will give you whatever you ask for cuz that's just the way it works..

There's no 'I' in 'team'. But then there's no 'I' in 'useless smug colleague', either.
And there's four in 'platitude-quoting idiot'. Go figure.
