being smart is defined in terms of what you know and not always how you demonstrate them. my typing does not reflect this. and as for funky, i don't think i'm scared of him. what will he do? type horrible things at me?

Unfortunately all we have to go on is your posting style; how you type and the content of your posts.Originally posted by threelions00@9 April 2004 - 08:13

How do you think you come across in your posts? Do you think you come across as smart? Are you smart enough to realise that boab's comments were a joke?
as for me old and fecking stupid left school soon as possible downhill ever since
I'm curious as to what your degrees are in, threelions?
From what you've said, I'm assuming (yeah, there's me assuming again) that you're a teacher...am I right?
On a given day or given circumstance, you think you have a limit.
And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit and you think "Ok, this is the limit".
As soon as you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further.
With your mind power, your determination, your instinct and the experience as well, you can fly very high.

Damn you little Whore.Slow down!
Sorry I dont know what your previous account was or who you are. Intelligence is not what you know. A monkey can be trained to do things through tuition. Intelligence is your capability to deal with the unknown. Until people leave 'Academia' they do not have a clue how clever they are.Originally posted by threelions00@9 April 2004 - 09:13

I didn't say that teaching was a bad profession, or that teachers were inherently stupid. In fact, my mother was a teacher and some of the most intelligent people in the world are teachers. Teaching is a very honourable profession, the people who do it don't often get recognition for their hard work and, as you know yourself, the pay isn't brilliant.
