im looking for a player taht can play avis and mpegs backwards (including the sound).
does any1 know a program that can do this?

some of my huge movies 4 some reason play backwards on all of my players using every encoder and decoder. ive got 15 of um. i riped hem to disk the upgraded to XP and now ive put um back on my HD They have played wrong.
your replies didnt exactaly help but was a valid question lol

Sounds like you have got the wrong Codecs installed, have you got the latest KL Codecs pack from Here in Downloads?
Also you could try Gspot that would tell you what Codec's your missing

I have seen all sorts of things over the last couple of years regarding upside down or backwards movies or both. Codecs can be a root cause, simply conflicts between them, not them alone cause the issue. Secondly when trying to play a movie on my sons PC it was backwards and upside down. What finally corrected the problem was I adjusted his desktop settings to mirror mine on the other system (where it played correctly) and the movie payed fine. What my kids had done was change the settings on their PC for some PC games that required 600x800 max resolution and 256 color, when I changed them back to true color and 800x1100 (or whatever) the movie played fine. Do not ask me to tell you why, just that it did correct the movie viewing issue.
