I am having a problem when trying to install win2k, I went into bios and set up the cd-rom to boot first and it does just that but, my damn keyboard isn't responding when it says "press any key to boot from cd..." I press every key you can think of and it still goes to boot from the hdd then my keyboard works just fine.
I was just wondering if there is a way to get the keyboard to work during the 5 or so seconds I have to press any key, I spent four hours to no avail, googled the fecking thing with no answers.
Is it possible to disable everything from booting up other than the cd-rom and if so will I be able to format the hdd afterwords or should I even be thinking of doing this?
I have this OS installed on the pc I am using now and am trying to get it on my sisters pc.
Thanks

i assume you have a usb keyboard, this can be a problem in older comps during startup
just go borrow someones ps2 keyboard, for like 10 minutes and it will fix it
