@ the ribbon cable comment, some cards have ribbon cables for the vga plug, if it has dvi, sivideo and vga.

my friends card is really skinny but has dvi, svideo and vga, so the vga port isnt connected directly to the board, it connects via a ribbon cable going to the board.

Seriously, like back in that "rate yourself" thread a while ago, most of us know nothing. Oh, lets rate ourselves 10 because we can fit a CPU into a predesigned socket then clamp it in.
We can also read a website and find out a graphics card is going to be released in 2 days! We're all genii!

actually that gives us ALL a perfect right to rate ourselves at a 10. 71% of ppl who try to install a CPU the second time bend a pin to the point of breakage...

I can&#39;t believe that ATI merged with Scotch tape for their new cards and didn&#39;t even announce it&#33;
