    hi...whenever i try to click on something that opens a new browser, it goes to my homepage and sticks there, doesn't move, just sits there and taunts me...how can i get what i want?

    scan for spyware...using spysweeper if you dont already have any programs.

    i was asking if there was any specific page,cuz that might have given info about possible spyware

    its no particular page. for example, it blocks when i try to view a profile on yahoo but also does it when i try to click on a link to find out information

    Click "Security: in my sig and download everything. Reinstall IE if all else fails.

    The best options is to use a better browser. Firefox is excellent. Konqueror's cool. I'm using Lynx now, it's the best IMHO.

    ChEeRs Haxor...will give it a go and see what happens...more than likely inadvertantly end up formatting my hard drive again
