Okay, I've a cd of music that I want to transfer into 'My Music'. How do I do it?
rip it. I don't know of any good rippers in windows. I've always downloaded my tunes because my cd's would take too long to rip. But I think that's the concept to copy it from the cd to your drive.........rip!
On a given day or given circumstance, you think you have a limit.
And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit and you think "Ok, this is the limit".
As soon as you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further.

If you plan on ripping some albums, please do the filesharing community a favour and rip at 192 bitrate or higher. Most people are split between CBR (Constant Bit Rate) and VBR (Variable Bit Rate) so I'll let you decide what to choose. I rip at 192 CBR. The settings aren't much to look at, so it shouldn't take no more than 20 seconds. I think the default is set to 128 bitrate :x

dbpoweramp is a VERY GOOD cd ripper. So is Easy CD-DA Extractor
You should give EAC - Exact Audio Copy a try. It is the best I find.
