How Many Partiall Downloades Do You Have

I was just wondering how many files you guys have in your download folder waiting to be completed ?

I am on 56K and I have about 150 files in my download queue.

Is this far too many or do others have this many or more ?

I find that If I have more than this KL starts hanging up,

But I seem to need this many to be able to get some files to resume downloading.

Would I have more downloads complete If I only had say 5 or 10 files ?

eems to me that less files would mean more complete downloads as you will be sreading your bandwidth too thin, and at same time each file is looking for sources which will slow down your PC.

ADSL is getting cheaper though, especially with things like Woosh coming out, so hang in there. And I guess my PM was no good to you as you are on 56k.

im waiting on 5, for a few weeks running now. though im on dsl, just not many sharing. on a 56k, 150 seems like quite a bit depending on what you are downloading. if its movies, your doomed lol.

150 lol are you out of your mind?? try one or two at a time man

lol yep , why make that big a que , just pick one or 2 with lots of sourses and get them finished

then do a new search for more files uou want , it will also slow you down with that many files trying to reconnect

i suggest you cancel most of those d/l and search for stuff as you need it

Seems I've been a bit of an idiot !

But I used to get impataient waiting for them to downlaod so I queued up more !
