awhile ago i had a virus that sent its self to loads of email address from my computer. It also sent itself to addresses that I had only written to once, and not saved the address....
how does it get this address? where is this being stored on my computer? I think its only used hotmail.

ok. well make sure u have got rid of the virus. do some online scans (trend micro and panda activescan) and then ur own virus scanner, then run a ad aware program. Mine was bridge.a virus. Not bothered about it as i got rid of it without any problems. Just want to know how it picked up these addresses that i havent stored/saved in any address book

Download AVG and / or NOD32.
And if you are, stop using Lookout Express.

@hungrylilboy:
Get the actual programs, don't do the online scans. AVG is free, and you can find a bastardized version of NOD32 on nsane's site.
@gungrave:
Let me put it this way... what's right with Lookout?
