How Can I Complete Some Partial Downloads ?

I have quite a few files partially downloaded for the last few months.

Every time I connect I try to resume them, but KL just does not find any users with the file to complete them.

Is this just bad luck ?

Or do I just keep trying ?

Or are there any fancy techniques I could use to finish off these downloads ?

Further to your other email, if you leave downloads running for too long then you will lose any sources available. Most people will hold files for a length of time then make way for new files so the longer you take to complete a file then the less likely you are to find sources to be able to complete your download.

I will have to complete my downloads quicker by having less of them waiting !

I have often wondered about swapping supernodes.

Does this latch you on to different users ?

I see the number of users in the status line stays roughly the same.

It can allow you to connect to sources not available to you through the supernode you are currently connected to.
