Upload Problem

hi im steve i have a broadband connection 1 meg i use noton anti virus and fire wall
i have athlon 1800

MY PROBLEM IS WHEN I SEND A EMAIL OR UPLOAD A PIC TO A WEB SITE OR SHARE A FILE OR POST A PICTURE ON A BOARD THE ORIGNAL PICTURE GETS MESSED UP IT S TURN INTO LINES OR HAS HALF A PICTURE

i have 1000 meg of ram
ihave installed windows xp pro twice and it still seems to do it
also it dosent matter if its a jpeg or a bit map it still does
any idea any one?
only thing i dont have is the servive pack 1 any one if this may efecct my uploads?
and if so were to get it

I don't think that will help your situation.

Are you saying that the picture you send gets corrupted during upload transfer and the uploaded picture is distorted or is it that after you upload it the 'source file' on you harddrive is corrupted?

Some picture host do that to lower the size of pictures. Find a better host.

havent got a officail copy of xp so cant update
and the pictures are fine on my hard drive

Picture Trail, not sure if they are free anymore, did that. (Makes pictures worst looking)

You don't need to have a valid "official copy of xp" just follow the installing on multiple computers at that site and download the whole Service Pack 1. It's about 130 megs if I remember correctly. Just make sure you have a good Corporate key when you install it or it wont work. There have been a few blacklisted keys so don't use those.

If you look in the verified section I think you can find a keygen you can download.
