    Hey, I know this is hardware world, and if you want to move this VB then do so, but I just wanted to inform everyone who just comes here of a horrible virus that has almost whiped out New York, Read Below:

    My mom got an email about it...I saw something about it on tv too during school and our comp teacher said something bout it.

    thanks bigdawg! if I got an email from a family member or friend with that title id probably open it, and would be infected. thanks for the headsup. gotta go talk to me sis and dad.

    viruses that destroy your boot sector are not uncommom its just mass mailing worms will create more traffic on the internet and get noticed more so thats all we have seen for a while. now it seems the old skool do as much damage as possible worms are back.

    i would imagine if this is true its is probably exploiting the latest set of patches microsoft just released.

    Wouldn't it be possible to repair such a drive with Active@killdisk ?
