Thread: Cant Download And Insatll Flash Player 6

    i got to macromedia.com and it just dosent install it. (when i click on free flash player link).

    could someone post a link for the installer for flash for IE.

    U might have something in the security options disabled..

    Check to make sure cookies are set to normal and the ActiveX is enabled/or promt

    Can you explain more detail? What happens when you click the link?

    It should very easily install, just click yes and restart your computer.

    Do you mean this flash player right http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/downlo...mcom/flash.html ?

    yea thats the flash player i am on about when i got on to that page. a box comes up titles 'internet explorer insatll on demand'

    the mssage is. ' to displayu this page corectly you will need to download and insatll the following components'

    the compaonet is 'flash player'

    i click download and it says ' 'component download failed'

    I've had a BIG problem with the Flash player 6.. if I go to a site with any .swf on it, my PC locks up SOLID...
    but thats not your problem...

    While I was looking for a fix for my Flash issues, I found this post on the Flash player support forums.

    Hope it's of some use to you, and GL getting a fix.. some folks have been jumping up and down about my issue since last October, and its still not been resolved.

    Oh.. while I'm here, does anybody know where I can DL flash player 5 as an executable self installer?

    try to trun off your firewall. And delete all ur's cookies and make your it's not high..
