# Thread: 1,600 Megabyte Is How Many Gigabyte ?

1. im just wondering this , because im downloading a file at kind of a bad pace and im just wondering how much is 1,600 megabyte in gigabyte please.

2. 1600[Mb] * 2^20 = 1677721600[Kb] / 2^30 = 1.5625[Gb]

3. there is 1024 kb in a mb, and 1024 mb in a gb.

1600/1024= 1.5625

uhh thats kinda long...just simply devide the size in MB by 1024 and you get how many GB's...and to get MB you divide the KB by 1024.

6. 1600mbs is 1.6gb

100mb = 0.1gb
1000mb = 1gb

easy as 1 2 3
