    this is weird. i've had my current installation 4 bout 6 months now, and b4 i upgraded everything, i had xp installed for bout 8 months with no probs at all. never had a blue screen ever

    just about any piece o' shit program, driver or hardware can turn a stable OS into an unstable one.

    a well-configured WinXP system can stay up for weeks at a time without rebooting. but then again, the relatively crashy Win98 and Mac OS9 prolly could too, if you're extremely careful about what programs, drivers and hardware you use with 'em.

    Ya thats what i was thinking too so i set it to 2.0ghz and now were testing...

    hmm maybe it&#39;s just crashing to day or maybe it&#39;s asus&#39;s cop

    cpu temp is 57 degrees, it&#39;s hot today
