Hey I just reformatted my comp, but I cannot get the Admin account gone...nor can I change the name of it. I just want ONE account and for it to say Eric.

uhh it shows ur admin account at the login screen? is that the problem?
edit: if you wanna delete the account (not recomended) then just right click my computer>manage>local user and groups on the left>users>right click administrator and click delete.

You can't. You must have one user profile open that is an Administrator, who is capable of system changes.
You can however change 'Admin' to 'Eric' with no problem at all.
You must have an account named Administrator which you set a password for when you install XP. This account doesn't appear on the Welcome Screen but you can gain access to it by hitting Ctrl-Alt-Delete from there and typing it in.
You must also have at least one account with administrator priveleges but you can call it anything - wanker if you so wish.

Ok...now when I click on My Computer, the HDDs and stuff dont have a line above and below them separating them..there just all together...how can i make it separate them again?

I just forgot how to do all that..cuz it had it in like A B C D E F G H I J K and stuff but then i arranged it by type and it worked...thanks for your help
