They'll both be the same company soon anyway.

NTL have Debts of over $20 Billion (thats more than twice that of Enron when it collapsed)... and are over the moon that last year their Loss was only £0.5 Billion (an improvenment of 79%)

Microsoft and Liberty (who own over 48% of Telewest between them) are just waiting for the right time, i'm sure, to pick up 1,000,000 customers and a connected network at a knock down price

They are only about £5.2bn in debt, and recently announced they were "Restructuring" to wipe out 2/3 of that debt..... shame if your a shareholder, coz you get screwed by that

When NTL bought out the Cable operations of a larger company CWC (UK part of Cable & Wireless), it took on more than it could handle, and was at one point having to borrow money just to pay the interest on the Debt it got into.

I think that is a mistake, I believe it's supposed to be a 1gb a day cap. So you can only download a gig a day, go over that too much and your ISP won't be best pleased.

i am on 150Kbps and i dont think i could dl more then 1gig in 24hrs or less without the caps
anyone with a connection less then 300Kbps(costing usually less than £20 in uk) probably cant dl more then 1gb/day in the first place (depending on what day is ...12hrs or 24hrs ??? )..(i think !&#33

(if someone can do the math that be great )
