BUSH really screwed up this speech, I actually did see this live, do you guys remember? I am still laughing about it...........

I forget what kind of briefing it was but it was about a week ago and they were outside. The birds kept making weird ass noises. They were "loud" birds with obnoxious chirps.

You could tell Bush was distracted, he kept getting tounge tied.

I kinda' liked the speech he did 9/11, where he had a megaphone, and turned around while he was speakin' so this fireman who stood next to him got it full blast in the ear.

I remember watching that speech and I remember thinking that he did ok, but he really dropped the ball. You know he said stuff about the terrorists trying to change the American way of life and stuff, but what he should have said was something to the effect of:

"Enemy forces have perpetrated an attack on the civilian population in order to try to change our lives forever, and they have succeded...

For we are now truly One Nation Under God."

Now, I have to say Im not a big fan of Bush, But I am a big fan of really good speeches. I realize that the dispersion of faith is quite diverse as it is here in Canada, but at the time I think it probably would have been one of those sort of Winston Churchill "our finest hour" kind of moments....

anyway...
its done now, but i managed to burn off 15 minutes, so I guess its not all bad.
