My site homepage in IE and Firefox (I sometimes switch it to pages / sections I'm working on). Before I just used a blank one for quick loading times.

I made my own local homepage, which has a bunch of links to the sites I visit regularly.
There's no need to have Google as a homepage, because with Firefox it's built into the browser.
