ive always wanted one of these concise oxford or webster dictionary/thesaurus on my pc but couldnt afford it. Anyone know if one can download this from somewhere?

If you find one let me know, in the meantime wordweb is a good free thesaurus , and a decent dictionary, though i think the guy who wrote it paraphrased the definitions from a differnt dictionary. they just aren't as exact.

I use a dictionary on paper.Not one of those abridged ones either, oh no.

i am something with much more a detailed and accurate definition (oxfords has a good reputation and i very much trust) meriam-webster (probably american..could be wrong) im not too happy about as some words have a different meaning on the other side of the atlantic and that probably for pilitical reasons too..who know!!!...cant be trusted in my opinion...buts that is just my opinion so shoot me down for it (if u feel differently)
Zedaxax recommendation is very good though so i shall stick to that for now untill something better comes up.
