No matter what We do it's not good enough, as soon as we do something people complain.
If You cannot follow the simple rules then find another place, I find the rules very easy to follow, some members have forced us to add more rules. For example the advertising rule in signatures.
The rest of the rules is common sence, You dont have to agree with them but You've to respect the rules, if not You'll face the consequences.

It is true. This place has changed over time. Back when the original Mods were running the place and there were just a few active members, this place was addictive. I remember was nominated as the official Lounge whore one day. It made me proud.
There was a certain charm about visiting this forum (the lounge) back then. It was our best kept secret. It had almost nothing to do with P2P. Everyone helped each other out. The different backgrounds of everyone made the place interesting.
It is hard to explain, I guess you just had to be there to know what I mean.
As member number 2,734 I miss a lot of the old days and original members.

What made this board great was that things were generally relaxed, there were rules but they weren't as vigoursly enforced as they are now. More and more this place seems to be moving towards the harsh rules of somewhere like Suprnova forums...Originally posted by [B

If the board was working fine six months ago when rules weren't as vigoursly enforced (and there were less mods) what has changed now. You can't blame people for thinking there is a hidden agenda at work here when things seem to be getting unpleasant.
It's going to be a shame to see this place go, it really will.
But as you say there are lots of other places out there for us when this board closes. It's a shame that you would rather tell people to leave than try to find an all round acceptable solution to the problems.
