It takes two to tango you know...you can't sit back and not take any of the blame. I hardly post here, but I have read posts on this place for a long time and this place has changed and a lot of that is due to the rules and the way the board has been run by yourselves.

Take a look at it before it all changed, everyone got on better, it was more relaxed....What you have to realise is, members retaliate to a big change and thats whats happened here.

Members on this board are not the only ones to blame..its the way you have changed the board and how its run which has caused all the problems.

It was not meant to make the Mods look good or bad.

Really, bans and moderation come when people attack mods either on the board or in PM&#39;s. Some people lack the mental discipline or self esteem to be polite and diplomatic about a situation that upsets them. Alcohol also plays a role

Trust me I have had some rather heated exchanges with mods about thread closure and censorship, but I kept myself under a modicum of self-control and the results were satisfactory.

I do agree that there is too much board interference from the Mods, please let us play.

As to people getting on better in the past, that is an illusion created by time. As I stated before people were posting that same sentiment 3, 6, 9, 12 months ago. For some reason the past is viewed with rose colored glasses. Nothing really has changed that much.

I may have liked specific threads and some individual posters, but my point was that nothing has really changed, big picture.

People were fighting just as much back then as now, I was there. People keep thinking that somehow the past was all smileys and huggles, and that is not true.

There is nothing now that can prevent you from posting as you did a year ago (except anti-spam). Even before that, I hear of a guy called "superjude" who was quite the ass. Let us not forget octopussy and hypoluxa and all the other flamers.

I think for some the forum is something they lose interest in, and lulls occur as we wait for new players to fill this void.

I think it is important that the mods keep people coming to the site to replace our fallen ranks.

I have ben "surfing the net" (to use an antiquated phrase )since the days of old
(95) and have been part of several discussion boards over the years.

For the most part I have enjoyed my experiences.
I have talked to many wonderful people that I would of never had the chance
to in the"real world"

I have listened,learned and grown from my exposer to the collective hive.
The internet is the living breathing embodiement of free speech...The only
option left for the "common man" to express his opinion.

It&#39;s sad...that some feel the need to control anothers natural urge to say what is on ones mind.

I will never understand that need.

On the other hand some people do not know how to shut up...when to show consideration for others opinions.

My children crave less attention then certain members

I hate to see you go but life is dynamic not static...change is what keeps it from going stale.

I will stay and continue the good fight.
