Thread: Windows Xp 2600 Rename To Iso?

    HI all,

    i've downloaded this version and tryed to burn it with nero but all what nero says is
    that i have to correct the 'block' size?

    wtf? does anyone knows what the problem is?

    I'm not sure but i think that version's just a workin backup of the xp files 2 install of the h/d,just extract the *.iso with winrar and use the setup.exe

    or burn the files to cd then install
    but it won't be possible to boot up ur machine or the recovery console

    btw! if i haven't mistaken that copy or ur not happy with it and u want to clean install xp and turn it into a real copy of microsft windows xp pro let me know and i'll explain how to modifi the files

    Yes indeed my friend, but now drivers.cab is corrupted from the xp2600 version does anyone knows where to get that one?

    I would also like to know turn it in to a working, bootable cd-copy of XP...

    just put files that you extracted onto cd and burn it burn ALL FILES and it should work

    Here a full guide for turnin the 2600 iso in to a bootable windows xp

    it does work i've formated and reinstall winxp pro afew times to test it and its installed with out a glitch every time

    al it takes is about 5mins,it u get abit stuck ,just let me know

    get isobuster thats what i used to extract it to cd... / copy to cd

    What do you exactly want to do? Running XP off the card, or installing it from there?
