CD-RWs are very handy if you use them with DirectCD or InCD.
You can use them like floppy disks to copy/paste files, drag and drop files, rename files, delete files... Basically, they work like one huge floppy disk.

i find zip disks are better for this

its just too bad LS120 flopys didnt catch on they where great but the guys that made them where to gready and tryed to make them propriatary and had trobble markiting them so the zipdisk won out

the great theing about Ls 120 was not only could u get a 120 megs on 1 flopy but it made regular flopys work at 10X speed thu the 120 flopys where a little expencive but they would have come down in price if it had cought on

...more like 29¢ each.

Cheaper than a floppy disk!

I have about 5 CDRWs that I bought 2 years ago, never used them.

CDRWs were "THE THING" when CDRs used to cost $8.00 each.

I like that little usb plugin/keychain thing that dell packs with some systems, costs like 250$, but it holds like 300 megs or something i thought, totally portable, u can use it on any pc with usb.

diskonkey, or keydisk, something like that.

A USB drive is what you're talking about Schmiggy.
Practically everyone carries them. TigerDirect has a bunch of different brands/sizes. And they can be very cheap (<$30US)depending on the capacity you want.

USB drives can store any file types. Typically Windows will automatically recognize it without the need for a driver. This does vary depending upon which version of Windows you have.
A USB drive behaves like any other drive. You can drag and drop files using Windows Explorer.

Do you even know what the "<" & ">" symbols mean? And yes, that is a good price for blank CDs. Does that acknowledgement make you feel better?
