Zone Alarm

I just installed Zone Alarm and ran it for the first time. Right off the bat it was catching IP's trying to get into my pc. But for some reason Bit Torrent goes really slow when I have Zone Alarm running. Is their an option I should toggle or is Zone Alarm not to be used with Bit Torrent?

make sure zone alarm allows bitorrent to have FULL access to the net

As much as I liked ZA I had to call it a day and switch to Sysgate, and am pleased...

i use ZA pro and bittornado and i have no problems with speed i get highs of .5 mbs and normally around 50 kB/s

so i see no problem with it but i'm also on a school network so if it decreases it a little i don't notice
