As in "at the outbreak of the great war, what so impressed Meinecke was that all the parties of the German "Reichstag" agreed to approve of War credits"?

I can&#39;t say I&#39;m totally lucid with regards to it myself, Snny.

I do recall reading Gunter Grass&#39;s The Tin Drum and the subject being raised with bitterness.

I believe it had a lot to do with that old rabble-rouser Marx. After he spilled his guts, global unrest was inevitable.

Will have to keep searching.
