This plethora of plebs I'd found.
Here was something unprofound.
My English teacher would have frowned.

You'd need galoshes for the geeks
Thought I, this place is crammed with cliques.
Who writhed in tongues of pings and tweaks.
A noob was half afraid to speak.

I settled in. I dug in deep.
I got in line behind the sheep.
Something told me that I'd reap
Something gainful on the cheap.

And then, such wonders to behold.
When once within this school enrolled.
The pupils needing telling, told.
The arseholes needing rolling, rolled.

Gods and monsters here at play.
A vivid, vulgar thorned bouquet.
My preconcepts in disarray.
I wandered, whistling through the fray.

Kings dethroned and jesters crowned.
Those who wouldn't swim just drowned
Or sunk straight into solid ground,
Their footing being less than sound.

It never was my hope to strive
Amid so many seething lives.
And yet, somehow, I seem to thrive.
Grateful to have still survived.

It's not a jail. There are no bars.
The wounds we take will not bear scars.
I've brought along some nice cigars.
So check out my new fucking stars.
