Hi
I downloaded an .asf video file from the net and its perfect however i cannot skip to a point in it, i have to watch the whole thing. This is a real pain.
Any Ideas??

Yeah try getting the lateset k-lite codec pack 
if it still doesn't work come back and ask again. B)

Must be the file then it just won't let you do it 
you'll just have to live with it
