Thread: New Additions To Nforce 2 Chipset

    sounds good! but why are they still working on nforce 2? thats old technology...

    are nvidia going to come out with a pci express hip anytime soon? i havent ehard of them much lately (in the chipset market that is, lots in gpu though).

    nforce 2 is still used in most high end boards today, and imo is one of the best chipsets available, so it's good their still working on it!

    ya, but athlon xp is old now, and thats all it supports right? the new chips will need nforce 3 or whatever the other new chipsets are...

    nForce3 doesnt even have dual channel yet does it?

    Does this new thing have higher bandwidth and stuff? Is it alol better?

    that is true, but many people will be using athlon xp for at least 2 more years, so they have to still keep things updated for those people not taking the A64 route right away
