    Taking too much room on the shelf is about the best excuse for d/loading films I've ever heard I've been looking into burning dvds lately and somewhere in my search for knowledge I saw an article on how writable discs we can buy are'nt the same as the shop copys anyway so will never be as good is that right?

    My family does, but I'm too poor. You can just rent or borrow and copy them. It's soo easy.
    Well, if it's a really good movie, I'll scrounge up enough money to buy it, but usually no.

    Yes. I usually download them to see if they are worth buying and if they are I go and buy the original.

    You cant beat an original DVD, and i want the good film makers to continue making movies.

    But i&#39;ll be damned before i buy a crap movie, or encourage them to make them

    I buy the occassional dvd, basically only things I really like, but typically i will only buy them if they;re on discount, £15 - 20 is imo too expensive.
