How To Play Mkv File?

you just need the correct codecs, filters and stuff. then win media player will do the job.

I have install the kl codec pack 226f and i can play most mkv file except this.
I run gspot, render the file and got this "Non avi type file". what gives?
please help.

what were the programs in klite codec did u installed to properly watch mkv files

I installed everything and correctly cuz i have no problem watching other mkv files except this few files which i downloaded just recently.

Matroska files can contain every existing codec.
Use videotoolbox to find out which codec your unplayable mkv files have and download it.

so i recently downloaded an mkv anime, and it told me that there was a missing filter, so then i came to this messageboard and i downloaded the codec package up top and now it says that it won't find the matroska splitter
and it also says this......
