So would I mate, there is nothing to stop letting the account be used by him. Just take away all of the mod powers and let the chap have his say.Originally posted by jetje@10 June 2004 - 21:42
Well there's someone showing off team logs and stuff, he was also telling he would pull a stunt on us, so i guess you have to watch in that direction, the guy always claimed he loved this place. Well so much that he would spoil the fun of a few hundred peopleIMO he's just a big Ashole. Most of you lads have seen him post about this on different forums so i guess you all know who i mean. Probably he pulled a trick. But if Jack was really involved i don't know for sure.
So yes, i for one like to hear from Jack himself 1st![]()
There must be a way to change the password and e-mail the new one to the real person, so we know it's him.
FFS we can't just turn our back on the guy without letting him have his say.
If he doesn't want to that's up to him.
Tho' if it was his known IP I don't really see how it could have been someone else.
What has actually happened? some posts have been dleted and that's about as far as i know![]()

it's not so difficult if you could have hacked into his pc!Originally posted by J'Pol@10 June 2004 - 23:37

Yeah, you could see that on the logs. If those are accurate then he gave himself MOD statusOriginally posted by danb@10 June 2004 - 21:11
Apparently the person showing off the logs claims to have done it via their own account![]()

It sounds difficult to me mate, but I know feck all about that sort of thing.
Why dont you just come out and and name the guy JJ? Most of us know who you are talking about anyways.Originally posted by jetje@10 June 2004 - 21:42

I would like to add that given the issues you had with the person you describe, you really should'nt be pointing he finger in that direction. It is a totally unfounded (and prehaps biased) accusation and will do no good at all.
But back to the topic at hand; I would like to hear from RTJ to find out the other side of the story.
Actually if RTJ's computer was hacked rather than merely his account getting cracked then it is quite possible that his IP was used to do the bad stuff - even if he wasn't at the keyboard. I mean a lot of us leave the PC on 24/7, right?Originally posted by J'Pol@10 June 2004 - 21:37

There is a lot of clever software which would enable some malevolent person to operate RTJ's PC remotely and delete threads. Especially if the software was put there by someone RTJ trusted...

I say this genuinely.
I will have to take your word for that, as the whole sordid area is a mystery to me.
People seem to think that doing things like that make them clever. To me it makes them a prick who is violating someone else's rights and they are scum.
No better than the type of person who mugs old women for a few pounds. Then boasts about it to their mates. Fucking pricks.
