Thread: Painting My Comp Case

    hey guys im thinkin of painting my computer case red and black. But i have no idea wat the hell im doin lol. Wat type of paint do i use. Obviously spray paint??? but wat type??? the front of comp is plastic so will i have 2 use a different type of paint and should i coat my case in something b4 i get stuck in2 painting it/???

    any help would b good or a link 2 website or sumtin

    WTF????
    That is the worest spray job i have ever seen.

    I would be embaresed to say the least to even show that on the web let alone put my name on it.

    If I dida spray job like that i would kill my self.

    I mean ok it was dont out of a can but still it is fucked.

    @ROSSCO I didn't se that at first .

    @arron02 Why not black with red poka dots ? Oh hell live a little be different.
    I guess its like any paint job its all in the prep and priming .

    How about a blotchy montior (my old one has pen marks all over it, really scratched up )

    Given your (admitted) complete lack of knowlege about painting do you really think it&#39;s a good idea to learn on your PC?
    The art and craft of a good paint job takes years to master and some fairly expensive equipment to boot.
    OK results can be had using hardware store spray cans, but it is not easy.
    Worse comes to worse, take it to Maaco or the like...they can do a lot better and faster job than you.
    In a perfect world the ideal finish would be powdercoating.

    I work in a body shop at a big car dealership now...besides getting to drive fancy mercades around all day im also friends with the painters...i could get them to paint my case for like 10 bux...i got a silver chieftec which most of you have prob seen..i just duno what to do with it really haha
