How many computers have you lot actually built?
Surely all connectors having a coloured and a white wire gives you a clue? FFS, the white wires are (-) neg.

Pcchips KT266A SKT A DDR AGP Sound LAN USB 2.0 Retail Box
Just took educated guessed and tried my best, pc is working thats all he cares, however i can't get his sound to work, the cd that came with it has loads different sound drivers and im trying to work out what on board sound it has.
@ vb1234, it doesn't matter because on all motherboards just try the led hooked up both ways and see which works...and it's not like he had no clue what he was doing, he did provide us with the color coded thing and stuff.
@chewieuk, yes that is true but a lot of cases are colored that way...
Ross, I only ask because a lot of times the manual is available online and I could then post the exact information for his specific board. I looked for an online manual without success.

Looking at the board with the panel connector bottom right and the CPU socket at the top, the pins are arranged like this...
10 - 09
08 - 07
06 - 05
04 - 03
02 - 01
Connect your cables thus...
HDD LED coloured (01) white (03)
POW LED coloured (02) white (04)
RESET SW coloured (05) white (07)
POWER SW coloured (06) white (08)
