You’re nobody unless you smell like somebody.

Yeah, sure, go ahead, grab your Prada handbag, wobble on your stiletto heels, throw on a dress by Gucci, Versace or Jean Paul Gaultier and show off your elegant freshwater pearl art deco chandelier earrings. You might look great from 10 feet away, maybe even five, but any closer than that and the olfactory glands will be assaulted by the free sample perfume you tore out of the last issue of Flare.

Luckily, the celebrities are out to save your sorry butt once again by telling you how to look, what to wear and, specifically, how to smell. Britney Spears is the latest to jump on the bandwagon.

You can already smell like J-Lo, Madonna, Celine, Isabella Rosellini, the Olsen Twins and even the glamorous Minnie Mouse, and for this, my nose and I thank these generous, understanding stars for their impeccable taste and boundless generosity. And to think, at one point the sexy, sultry smells of Naomi Campbell were trapped inside her skin, but now, oh wonder of wonders, they’re bottled as Mystery and Naomagic, because you can never smell too much like Naomi.
