Converting Wmv To Mpg

Hey,
I got some videos that I want to put on dvd so i can watch them on TV. They are in .wmv format and play at 221 K/ Bits a second. I used TMPGE to convert them just using the Wizard and clicking next to everything and not changing any of the settings and it works fine and its pretty clear but every 5secs the video pauses for 1 second?? Wat could be wrong?

thats kinda weird
try removing bad frames and be sure you have the correct codec;s and vafpi settings, check my sig (svcd/vcd)
