Ok, I posted about this just a little while back but didn't have an example to show everyone what I am referring to about this annoying pop up that I can't seem to stop. I have pop up blocker and Norton Firewall but it seems to get through. Anyone else get these popup? and if so have you been able to stop them?

    Uh...

    Go to:
Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services

    Double-click:
    Messenger

    Switch from Automatic to Disabled.

    Done. No more messenger.

I had the same problem some time a go, found a nice link to solve it:

    http://tweakxp.com/tweakxp/search.asp?s=messenger
look in Disable Messenger SERVICE (Not MSN messenger)

    You could also check out:

Yes I get those too... they come with a nice little beep as well.

    Where do they come from?

    A program called Messanger?

Interesting. I turned off nearly all of autolaunch programs except MSNmessanger, AIM, and a easyaccess-keyboard program.

Could it be coming from something else.
