Thread: Whats So Good W/ Amd Over Intel?

1. #41
wow!
so il just buy 2500?
about 2600? or just stick with 2500?

so if i get 2500 il keep the stock or get better cooling? since if i oc il overheat it or some sort because i dont like how the stock fans of amd athlons preform... pretty bad...

ohh about 127? ohhh thanks il check the bios FOR THE REAL TEMP.

but if i decide not to o/c anything?
whats a good cheap amd processer to leave it be?

and 2500+ at $109 at a store or online.

I cheapest I found was 2500+@$115
samsung@$119 all in store prices

I don't like online shopping S&H

btw whats better that abit mobo or A7N8X I'm leaning toward asus

edit: NVM, they're way different than I thought they were.

I have had both boards and ATM I prefer the NF7-S.
You have a few more headers to work with ( specifically USB), the OC options are better, better voltage control AND it comes with a Serellel PATA/SATA adaptor.

Also your BIOS options are more numerous with the ABIT.
