Need Help With Virtualdub

okay i want to exract an wav file out of and ASF file I have version 1.3c of virtualdub back then they let you open up asf files. when i open in i get an erro message. "Couldn't locate decompressor for format mp43 (microsoft high speed Mpeg4-3)

What do i do?
Please help!

I don't know if this is the problem but it sounds like you don't have the sound codec of that particular file or virtual dub don't support it.
try installing the klite codec pack and also I suggest you try upgrading to virtual dub 1.4.
or go here and download the virtual dub with "asf parsing"<I don&#39;t know what that means but you can try it.And also try v-dub mp3 freeze wich has VBR support.
One of these might fix your problem.

thanks master yodax my problem is solved it was a codec problem i installed the nimopack codec and it opened fine thanks for going to all the trouble of looking it all up
