Vietcong Problems

Hi all.

My retail copy of Vietcong is scratched so I downloaded it on Bittiorrent. I've burned cd1 and 2 using Nero 6. I installed the game but when I try to play it my PC freezes and I have to reboot. . The bins match the cues and it installed without any errors.

Is there a way I can get it to play? What would you try?

get the crack from a certain website. i dont know any but there must be a whole world devoted to game copys

I went to gamecopyworld.com but I can't see how I can download the crack to make the game run off the disk! Does the crack have to be (burned at the same time) on the game CD to work? Do you unzip the crack and then try opening the game using the game's icon (on the desktop)? I don't know

I'm loaded with beer and I just want to kill some VC for an hour or 2

if you have the crack. make sure its the right version of the game (ie stuff like ver 1.2 might not work if you have ver 1.1 installed)

then drag the nfo into notepad if you waant, ut normally you jus have to drag a file or two into the games install directoy, if it says do you want to over-write? you've done it correctly.

Gameburnworld's search engine only finds foreign crack pages I clicked the 'info' button next to the torrent and found this,

'This is a great pc game the crack is on cd2 use a program like daemon tools to extract it !!!'.

What's daemon tools? Can I use Nero 6 to do this? :helpsmile:
