If any thing its how it was bundle , you know crappy mobo or no agp slot, wrong style of memory, like Rambus

Edit : Funny how you don't make the same mistake twice! I think thats why I upgrade every two years to TRY and stay current .

Sprocket only has two parts remaining from her original build...the HDD ( wish I had a Seagate) and the CPU ( no problems/regrets with that), so all in all I am very pleased.
That will prolly change next week though.

I don't have anything specific in mind, Ross.

I bought my refurbished Dell desktop 18months ago in the US and hauled it back to the UK (a pain) but apart from a replacement CDR under warranty, it has been absolutely perfect. I have upgraded ram and HD now but it still runs a treat and very quiet.

Terrible gateway. 777mhz. P3. 2 ram slots...up to 512 RAM. But 2 PCI slots, that only take Half Height, or Low Profile cards, which they dont make anymore. And i forget what kind of ram, but it is expensive. So its pretty much a lead weight. But it is 4 years old, so that is ok.
