    what would be classed as an extreme case temperature?

    Depends on who you ask.

    I would classify anything over 40c as extreme for the case temp.

    Unless you have just installed an EasyBake Oven, of course.

    I'd also say that for CASE TEMP anything over probably about 45 is way too high, but there is no reason why it should be anything more than 38

    If the case temp is even 10˚C above room temp then you really need to work in case ventilation.
