did you recently tweak your internet connection?

defrag with O&O every other night and just checked it and all ok
nope dont touch internet tweeking things at all. Am on adsl as well
its odd. some pages take ages to load, but if u click refresh as they are loading, the load quickly.
whereas some pages load as normal. have clear temp folders too and cookies

I'd say check with your ISP.
sounds like they may be having trouble with their DNS or something.
